Buzz is surrounding Tiger Woods right now, and it is not because he has a new mistress, but rather a new caddie, Dustin Johnson’s new caddie that is.

Woods has taken the services of Joe LaCava to become his third full-time caddie. It should be noted that LaCava was the one who inquired about the job by approaching Woods and his agent Mark Steinberg.

The move, however, came as a big surprise to Dustin Johnson’s camp. David Winkle, Johnson’s agent, confirmed that LaCava has indeed parted ways with Johnson, but was shocked that LaCava made the jump, stating that LaCava and Johnson had a good working relationship with each other.

Woods, who seems to still be being haunted by his knee injury, fired Steve Williams this summer after learning that Williams worked for Adam Scott during his recovery from his injury.

Tiger Woods is still playing limited schedule, even with a good knee. The former number 1 is currently struggling to find his rhythm as he has never won in more than 2 years on the PGA Tour, and even lost a chance to be in the FedEx Cup playoffs this year.

It remains to be seen if this move will benefit Woods to finally get his game back on track.
